Firstly, go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back for this, as this is a clear step up from your previous drawings. As for some small critique however keep in mind that black lines mean shadows. I think you wanted to show the scales along the underbelly have a sort of a curve to them, but with the black lines going in the middle it seems that the scales sort of push into the body a little. To remedy this you could try out using white lines instead, or in this case, red lines. However, you did a fine work with the light red highlights, the give a surprising amount of depth to the form. However do not forget you have shadows as well! A highlight casts a shadow too in most cases. But I feel here having the highlights alone work well. The fur on the back however breaks the style a bit. The lines might be a tad bit too strong in the fur, also I would recommend making them a bit longer, the lines indicate how long the fur would be, but here it seems that the individual strands of the fur are rather short due to the short brush strokes. Also as it would be in the shadow back there, the fur would most likely be a darker shade of grey or red.
